It is hard to believe that we finally made it to our final issue of the spring semester and academic year. I am so excited for a break and for next year and am sad to see the seniors go but am so proud of all of their work.
This week was fairly simple, writing a review of the play "Sense and Sensibility" that was held on campus, the weekly Globe's Point, the news briefs, and a small update with the news editor on the student government association. It was nice to have all the editors together to complete one final layout with the graduating seniors. I have learned a lot from each one of them and am so excited to see what is in store for them in the future.
As for the rest of the week, I continued to make preparations for next semester as editor-in-chief. I made some plans to finish cleaning and organizing the office, talked to staff about maybe changing the day and time of layout sessions, and thought about the staff for next year. It was fun being editor-elect but it is my time to shine next.
