In this set of images, I tried to capture what it was like to have a COVID scare, as it was something I had never experienced before; this was the first time I was sick in over two years. This first image is simple, depicting my negative rapid test. The next is of the medicine my doctor recommended that I take, and I was spraying down everything I touched to make sure germs would not spread to my family. The third image I really like, as my mom had to wear a mask around me to take care of me, which I really wanted to emulate how lonely isolation could be, especially when I had not seen my family in a while. The next two images are the view I had of my backyard, and it was raining during my isolation, which further created a somber mood. The next image is an abstract of my blanket, trapping the viewers in. After is a portrait of my dog, the only company I had, mirroring my slumped position on the couch. With the last two images, I wanted to create a sense of sadness, as I had no energy to play my grandma's organ or take care of the plant. The plant also emulated how I was feeling.
